Oslo universitetssykehus HF [Oslo University Hospital Trust] invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of 1 CT for image capture for radiation therapy planning for the Cancer Clinic.
Subject to financing.
The Cancer Clinic will procure a CT for imaging for radiation therapy planning at the Radium Hospital. The CT machine must be able to be used for all patient groups in radiation therapy, and the patients will be scanned during treatment. This means that the machine must be supplied with a flat carbon table top with the possibility of indexing and fixing of fastening equipment, as well as a movable laser system to be used for situating and drawing the patient during the treatment. The machine must also have a large gantry opening that will enable imaging with the patient fixed, and a large reconstruction area for inclusion of the patient's outer contour.

The CT machine must be able to take 4D recording and record with gating technology. The machine will also be used for diagnostic recording. This means that the machine must be able to satisfy standard radiology requirements within the areas of image quality, reporting of patient dose, possibility of optimisation of scan protocols, artefact and noise reduction.

If relevant tenderers want to offer software dedicated for radiation therapy planning, for example simulator software for drawing in/auto segmentation of ROIs. This can be offered as an option.
Images from the scanner must be transferable to the department's dose planning system, digital image archive and to the hospital's PACS system through the use of DICOM. Moreover, patient demography, work lists and scanning procedures must be able to be collected through the use of DICOM.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
During a 4 year period, Oslo University Hospital plans to procure up to four CTs for image capture for radiation therapy planning.
The apparatuses included in the option will mainly be used for the same purpose. The South Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority can use this contract for the procurement of CTs for image capture for radiation therapy planning for the new clinic building and proton centre at the Radium Hospital.
