A framework agreement will be entered into for the procurement of equipment specific consumables for 2 years with an option for + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 in the lifetime of the instruments.
The measuring instruments should be used for measurements during ECC with fully heparinized patients in open heart surgeries, but also partially heparinized patients’ pre- and post-operative heart surgeries as well as patients in Angio, pre, during or post PCIs, at Impella and ECMO. We request the same type of measuring instruments for all of the above listed categories.

Equipment specific consumables:
Disposable medium for ACT measurements are cuvettes or equivalent. This is the unit that shall be exposed for the blood that is subject to activated clotting time. There are approx. 10 000 samples per annum for heart surgeries.
The estimated contract value including consumables during the instruments' lifetime of 7 years is between
3 000 000 NOK – 5 000 000 NOK excluding VAT.
The contracting authority expects a lifetime of at least 7 years for ACT measuring instruments.
