The tender applies to the procurement of one surgical microscope for the Neuro-surgery Surgical Department at St. Olavs Hospital Trust, with an option for one equivalent surgical microscope over a period of 3 years.
The surgical microscope will be used for surgical intervention of the spinal cord (microsurgery) and for cranial use (tumour section/vascular intervention), and must therefore have 3 binoculars. I.e. 2 directly above each other and the possibility of a side-ocular that can change sides.
During tumour and vascular intervention, the clinic wants to have the option to use fluorescence so that the microscope must be useable for this.
The contracting authority expects a lifetime of at least 10 years.
The contracting authority retains the right to modify the final solution by triggering options.

The estimated need for sterile covers is approx. 1 000 per year. The contracting authority highlights that the estimated scope is not binding for the contracting authority.
