2019-21 I UNG Initiative — Romsdal

Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune

Møre og Romsdal County Municipality (the contracting authority) has a follow-up service (the OT service) in accordance with the Education Act § 3-6 for youth between 16 and 21 year-old who have the right to further education, but who for various reasons do not attend school or are working.
Since 2014 the contracting authority has offered services as part of the OT service for this age-group. The offered services has been named I UNG (hereafter called “the initiative”). The objective of the initiative is to motivate youth to complete sixth form college or to obtain employment.
Møre og Romsdal is divided into 4 initiative regions with the following geographical organisations:
— Nordmøre Region,
— Søre Sunnmøre Region,
— Nordre Sunnmøre Region,
— Romsdal Region.
Individual contests have been announced for each region. This competition is for the Romsdal Region.
