2019/1135 Contract for Somatic Specialist Health Services from Private Hospitals

The objective of the contract is to ensure the region's population access to equal, adequate and good somatic specialist health service of high quality and availability. The offered service must be a supplement to the service provided by the hospital trusts in the region and must be specifically focused on areas with long waiting lists.
Cf. IV. 1.1) Type of procedure: the Contracting Authority emphasises that the procedure is an open procedure in accordance with PPR Chapter IV and that negotiations are included. The procurement shall result in one or more contracts. The Contracting Authority also notes their reservation that the tender form is not completely suited to the procedure for the procurement of health services. The Contracting Authority shall enter into a 4-year contract. Option for up to 1+1 year extension. The contract period is based on the service's special nature and the development of the service and collaboration forms.

The Contracting Authority needs the following somatic specialist health services:

1) Out-patients treatment of orthopaedic diseases;

2) Out-patients plastic surgery (only in Tromsø);

3) Cardiac examinations;

4) Out-patients treatment of ear, nose and throat diseases (only in Tromsø).

Northern Norway Regional Health Authority also requests tenders for education of specialised physicians (LIS) in Tromsø. See annex 1, the requirement specification's Chapter 3.
