Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune extends an invitation to open tender contest for the purchase of feed concentrates for Gjermundnes Sixth Form College.
Gjermundnes Sixth Form College has the last few years had 120 students. The College provides education in use of natural resources, mechanics and supplementary studies qualifying for higher education.
The school owns and works approximately 300 decare of cultivated soil, leases in addition approx. 100 decare of cultivated soil and has approx. 1 000 decare of productive forest.
The school has the following livestock husbandry:
— milk production with quota of 170 000 kg,
— piglet production with 16 breeding sows,
— sheep husbandry with 35 winter fed sheep,
— stables with 25 stabled horses.
The Contracting Authority also has a nursery with 900 m of heated greenhouse. Mostly flowers and plants are produced here. The school also has approximately 10 x 1/4 acres with potatoes and outdoor vegetables.
The contracting authority needs to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of feed concentrates for use in the milk production, horse and piglet production related to the College’s animal husbandry.
