The objective of the contract is to ensure the region's population access to equal, adequate and good radiology/teleradiology services. The offered service must be a supplement to the service provided by the hospital trusts in the region and must be specifically focused on areas with long waiting lists.
The scope of the contract:
Policlinic radiology services for Bodø and Tromsø/Teleradiology services.
The Contracting Authority emphasises that the procedure is an open procedure in accordance with PPR chapter IV and that negotiations are included. The procurement shall result in one or more contracts. The Contracting Authority also emphasises its reservation regarding the tender form not being completely suited to the procedure for contracts regarding health services. The Contracting Authority shall enter into a 4 year contract. Option for up to 1+1 year extension. The contract period is based on the service's special nature and the development of the service and collaboration forms.

Teleradiology interpretations for all hospital trusts in the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority. An overview of the hospital trusts in the Northern Norway Regional Health Authority is available at www.helse-nord.no
The teleradiology interpretations apply to the modalities MR, CT and conventional x-ray. Orders for teleradiological interpretation are decided and carried out by hospital trusts in Northern Norway Regional Health Authority during the contract period. The individual hospital trust reserves the right to decide on which examinations that shall be interpreted.
