The Norwegian Construction and Property Management Department has, in consultation with the Norwegian Correctional Services, decided to renovate the Central Building/building A at Trondheim Prison. The building has 3 floors and a total area of approx. 3 850 m. It was originally constructed in 1971, and expanded in 1990 and an addition was constructed in 2002.

Tenderers are required to have satisfactory financial implementation ability. The extent of the size will also be emphasised.

The Norwegian Construction and Property Management Department reserves the right to carry out a credit rating of all tenderers.

The contractor is required to have sufficient experience from assignments with comparative value.
A description must be submitted for up to 3 reference projects with comparative value with information on:

— contracting authority,
— the project's size in m
— type of building,
— the assignment's contract value excluding VAT,

— the company's assignments/role in the project,
— the start-up date and completion date (year)/if not completed — where 1 is in the project.

The Directorate of Public Construction and Property has, in consultation with the Norwegian Correctional Services, decided to renovate the central building/building A at Trondheim Prison. The building has 3 floors and a total area of approx. 3 850 m
An option price must also be submitted for the renovation of the women's department and the health department, (including alterations to the 2nd floor). The renovation includes, amongst other things, replacing the technical installations, ventilation, redecorating existing areas and some alterations. The building will be closed for the work, but the central guard (in the A building) and the rest of the prison will be in operation throughout the construction period. Separate temporary access is to be established to the building, as well as provisional barracks will house functions that must move out of the building for the renovation.
