Swimming Pool at Langhus

Ski Kommune

Ski municipality shall construct a new swimming pool at Langhus, Ski municipality.
The new swimming pool shall be facilitated for encouraging health and training and shall contain:
— a swimming training and swimming competition pool, 50x25 m,
— 2 swimming lessons pools, 8 x 12,5 m,
— a diving tower, 10 m,
— grandstands for 550 persons,
— various social rooms. A thorough user process has been carried out, where all users interests were ensured.
The swimming pool shall have the following main groups as users:
— school classes,
— sports/training/competitions,
— accessibility for the audience.
The attached draft project was prepared in 2018, based on a decision from 13.5.2017 made by the municipal council. The room plan of the building includes approx. 5 400 m gross area (technical areas are not included), approx. 10 000 m gross area (including technical areas, and a developed area of approx. 4 800 m (the principal level).
The project is designed in accordance with the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Culture's requirements for swimming pools, where the objective is to receive maximum gaming funds.
