A church shall be built in down town Sola. The appearance of the church will be stylish and functional. The church will be located on the border of the new Town Hall that is under construction in Solakrossen. The ground conditions of the site are demanding, and the geotechnical report has determined that the building should either be founded directly on rock, on piles or pillars. The adjacent building site of the new town hall and the fact that the church shall be built in the centre of Sola means that consideration must be given to transport in and out of the construction area, and must ensure good separation between the building site and the surrounding area.
