The procurement concerns reconstruction of Sandsli 6th form college.
The project is carried out as a turnkey contract (NS8407).
Start up at the construction site approx. 9.4.2018, completion 25.1.2019.
The reconstruction /refurbishment of the existing school building at Sandsli 6th form college shall facilitate for more students in Restaurant and Food and Beverage wing 3. It is primarily ceiling, lights and ventilation that shall be improved, a number of the existing kitchens will also be upgraded.

At the same time, the contracting authority wants a better and more open solution for the school common areas and new canteen kitchen in wing 5.
Improvement measures are being carried out for accessibility and universal design and several teacher work stations and changing rooms shall be established.
A new ventilation duct will also be established on the roof over the bakery in the north east and a new bearing system must be established (girders and pillars) to take the load.
2 new ventilation systems shall be built to Restaurant and Food and Beverage in wing 3 and to the common area in wing 5.
1 HVAC plant room in an annex in the north east from 1995 is laid on the roof above level 1 of the current bakery, with new external access stairs.
5 new aggregates will be placed in available ‘loft’ over the corridor in level 3.
Access is via the existing fan room.
Personnel changing rooms for restaurant and food and beverage shall be expanded and changed.
On level 2, 2 sets of changing rooms are planned with a shower and two toilets in each changing room.
The changes affect the fire concept and a new one is being investigated.
The major part of the school building will not be changed (wing 1, 2 and 4).
The school will be in operation during the construction period and the works must be organised into phases 1, 2 and 3 (see the implementation plan in phases).
Which also requires adaptations to the school route (the exam etc.), the progress plan and HSE for the project.
