Oslo kommune v/ Bymiljøetaten

The Forestry and Landscape Department in the Agency for Urban Environment runs its own operations in all the areas in the uncultivated land and on the islands. The department currently has 6 large tractors, 4 lorries, 11 track machines and a number of tractors, cars and other tools that are required for operations.
It is important for the Agency for Urban Environment that it has tools and equipment that are reliable and, at the same time, ergonomic and technically updated for the work tasks. The department carries out a number of site related assignments summer and winter. In order to cover this need, the department needs lorries and a compactor vehicle for transporting matter and snow, maintenance, snow clearing, gritting, cleaning in the uncultivated land and other transport assignments to mention just a few. Further details are in the requirement specifications, annexes 1, 2 and 3 - The procurement is divided into 3 lots and tenderers can submit a tender for several lots, see point 2.6, as long as the offered vehicles fulfil the requirements in the requirement specifications.

It is important that all the lots can operate on a year-round basis (summer and winter) as regards operations on public roads, but also on separate managed roads/areas and sites in Oslo Municipality's forests, islands, cultural landscape and sports installations, some of which can, at times, have challenging driving conditions.

The average annual amount of kilometres driven is approx. 15 000. The compactor vehicle will be used for emptying waste containers, waste bins, various clear-ups and deposits of loose rubbish on uncultivated land. The vehicle will be used year round and it must have good quality summer and winter tyres. The functionality will be assessed based on need.
