Procurement of ground surveys in the Eastern Region

The Contracting Authority currently has three test drilling rigs and their own employees that carry out the ground surveys for the Eastern Region. There is large activity connected to the planning, construction and operation of roads in the region and has strict requirements for both ground surveys, geotechnical and engineering geological evaluation, and this has resulted in that we do not have the capacity to undertake all of the ground surveys ourselves.
The Contracting Authority therefore wants to enter into a framework agreement with 2 tenderer who have the necessary competence and capacity to be able to cover the demand for ground surveys in the future. The assignments are of varying scope and different character, and they will be connected to planning and construction projects and the existing road network within the Eastern Region.

It is currently difficult to predict our need for ground surveys within the framework agreement area and period, as the need varies from year to year and has been somewhat pendulous. The estimated volume is between 2 000 000 NOK — 3 000 000 NOK per year. This estimate is not binding.

The framework agreement will apply from signing of the contract and will have a duration of one year with an option for the contracting authority to extend for 1 year + 1 year + 1 year.
This framework agreement does not comprises rock control drilling, as the Contracting Authority has a separate framework agreement with service providers of rock control drilling. The framework agreement also does not comprise barge drilling.
