The Norwegian Health Archives (NHA) will purchase data centre infrastructure and systems for establishing a new turn-key ready operational secure data centre in our new building at Tynset, Norway, for the purpose of digitizing and long-term archiving of patient journals for supporting future research. 2 empty data centre halls (the “blue hall” for production systems and the “red hall” for archival systems) are now soon ready with power and cooling. The Contractor is asked to fill these halls with internal networks, servers, storage platform, backup system and other required data centre systems and services.
The procurement includes all elements needed in order to go into production, such as infrastructure, software, installation, configuration, integration, testing, basic documentation, training, etc. The procurement also includes a 5 year maintenance agreement for the equipment and software.
Bit Archive for the digital preservation system will be a separate procurement.
