Patentstyret

Patentstyret [Norwegian Industrial Property Office] shall enter into an agreement with a tenderer for a new backup system.
Our new backup system shall be a comprehensive solution for backup of our virtual servers and systems. Storage of backup data in another physical location, including necessary lines, shall be a part of the tender offer. The solution can build on the current systems, or it can completely new products can be offered.
The tenderer shall deliver all equipment and be responsible for installation and set-up, in cooperation with the Norwegian Industrial Property Office. The Norwegian Industrial Property Office will be responsible for the daily operation of all equipment that is found in our premises, but the tenderer operates all external equipment.

Kort beskrivelse:
The award of contract will occur after the tender competition with negotiations after the preceding competition in accordance with the Law on public procurements of 1 January 2017 (LOA), and Public Procurement Regulations determined by Royal Decree 1.1.2017 part I and part III. This involves that all interested tenderers can submit tender offers. A simple negotiation round will be implemented with each individual tenderer. The number of tenderers can be reduced to between five and eight tenderers prior to negotiations. The reduction will occur on the background of evaluation of the award criteria.

Norwegian tenderers shall present a Company Registration Certificate issued by the Brønnøysund Register Centre to document that the tenderer is a legally established company. The certificate must be submitted before the deadline for tenders.
Foreign tenderers shall enclose certificate(s) of registration in a trade register as prescribed by the law in the country where the tenderer is established.
