The aim of the project is to develop a digital tool and an efficient method for checking and obtaining relevant data on the self-service vending machines in Norway. The objective of the collection is to control whether the self-service vending machines fulfil the requirements in the regulation for Universal Design, by ICT. The tool shall contribute to increasing the number of inspections of universal design of self-service vending machines.

The system shall be owned by Difi and we would like to have an option for the operation and maintenance of the system. The programme development will be regulated by SSA-S and it is a pre-requisite that the tenderer is aware of the flexible method. The development period shall be completed by 17.12.2018. The contract value is estimated to be from 1 200 000 NOK to 1 800 000 NOK. Option: support, operation and maintenance.

The procurement is cancelled. Pursuant to PPR § 25-4 (1), the Contracting Authority can cancel the competition with immediate effect if there is justifiable reason. There is a justifiable reason for cancellation as there was only one tenderer who submitted a tender in the competition, so there was, therefore, no competition. Based on the lack of competition, Difi will assess the tender documentation before a possible new competition. We plan to hold a competition in the autumn.
