NAV will first use a standard Cloud service (public cloud) for employers, and then use it if there is a need for new development initiatives within other areas. In the long term we would like a system that covers the need for user insight and interaction between different user groups in NAV, both users, employers, others who interact and employees.

The cloud service must include functionality with very good use quality, user licences, a portal system, security and access control, as well as there being a need for expert help and possibly other additional services.
A Proof of Concept (POC) must be carried out during the procurement process. This is detailed in the Contract, Part III - Annex 1.
The contract can be changed if new laws and regulations are implemented.
There are requirements in the tender documentation that the system is delivered as a standard cloud service in a public cloud in a computer centre in the EU/EEA area, or in a computer centre in third countries that have been approved in advance by the European Commission, after an assessment of the risk and personal protection consequences. A data processor contract must also be signed in accordance with the requirements in the current personal protection rules (GDPR).
