The Norwegian Parliament, hereafter referred to as the Contracting Authority, would like to enter into a contract with a tenderer who will have complete responsibility for backups delivered as a service (BaaS) - without too much use of the Norwegian Parliament´s internal resources. There must always be relatively fresh backups a good distance away from the contracting authority´s buildings.

The system that will replace the Norwegian Parliament´s current backup system from Veritas must also, in limited periods, function as normal without 100 % dependency on lines or an internet connection.
The aim of procuring backups as a service is to relieve the internal IT resources so that these can be used for the Norwegian Parliament's core systems. Several internal IT resources will, however, when the new system is in place, be able to run restore jobs that require some knowledge of the system. It will be the tenderer's job to facilitate teaching and training of internal IT resources at the Contracting Authority. The delivery also includes, in addition to training, implementation, commissioning, and daily operation of the entire system.

The delivery must include all elements that are relevant for creating a complete backup system for the Norwegian Parliament's IT systems, this must also include normal expected growth in the amount of data in the coming years.
It is, thus, important for the Contracting Authority that the system is operationally and cost efficient when compared to the cost level for equivalent systems in the market.

Varighet: 60 måneder
