Orkdal Kommune

Orkdal, Meldal, Agdenes and Snillfjord municipalities are neighbouring municipalities in Trøndelag. The municipalities are located a few miles south of Trondheim and Orkdal municipality is a regional centre for approx. 50 000 inhabitants in south west Trøndelag. The municipalities are co-operating closely and from 1.1.2020 Orkdal, Meldal, Agdenes and parts of Snillfjord will merge into one municipality. The new municipality will be named Orkland municipality. After the merge the municipality will have 20 000 inhabitants.
The municipality requires a case and archive system that is in accordance with the Public archive act and at the same time safeguard the new rules for personal information protection The aim, therefore, is the procurement of a new archive system for the 4 municipalities, with implementation of the system in autumn 2018 and commissioning in all 4 municipalities from 1.1.2019.
The procurement also includes an option for the procurement of an archive system for HAMOS forvaltning IKS.

Orkland municipality wants to be future-oriented with focus on high standard services and an open administration culture. The municipality requires a case and archive system that is in accordance with the Public archive act and at the same time safeguard the new rules for personal information protection. The municipalities that shall make up Orkland municipality currently have digital case and archive systems from different suppliers. The municipalities would like to have the same archive system in all the municipalities as soon as possible, which will be continued in Orkland municipality from 2020. Our goal is, therefore, to procure a new archive system for the 4 municipalities, with implementation of the system in autumn 2018 and commissioning in all the 4 municipalities from 1.1.2019.
