The aim of the Contract is to cover the Contracting Authority's need for flushing/cleaning municipal sewage pipelines, emptying/cleaning municipal sand traps on the pipeline network, sewage pump stations, etc.
Comments to the agreement:
— The contract does not apply to treatment facilities, beyond what is stated in the requirement specifications,
— The contract does not apply to emptying sludge from minor sewage installations as and from municipal interceptors for sludge.
(that receive sewage from houses), which are covered by ÅRIM (Ålesundregionens Interkommunale Miljøselskap IKS).
— Ålesund municipality reserves the right to use its own vehicle for services involving drains in roads.

Documentation requirement — ESPD:
In order to have their tender evaluated, a Tenderer must submit a completed ESPD self-declaration stating that the Tenderer fulfils all of the qualification requirements stated below. The Tenderer who is chosen for the contract must, before the contract is signed, document fulfilment of the qualification requirements in accordance with the stated documentation requirements. The content of the requirements, as well as what is valid documentation are described in this document (qualification requirements and Competition terms), and they are also given in the notice.

Tenderers must have their tax, payroll tax and VAT payments in order in accordance with the legal provisions.
Credit rating: Requirement:
The financial capacity to carry out the contract is required. The tenderer is required as a minimum to be credit worthy, A in accordance with Bisnode AS with the service CreditPro, or have the economic capacity to fulfil the contract based on the Contracting Authority's discretion in regard to attached documentation from the Tenderer.

Documentation: For Norwegian tenderers: Tax and VAT certificate. The certificate shall not be older than 6 months from the tender deadline. Any arrears or other irregularities must be justified. (Tenderers can obtain the electronic tax and VAT certificate themselves and immediately receive it by email.).

Foreign tenderers: Tenderers who are not established in Norway shall submit equivalent.
Documentation issued by the authorities in the country where the Tenderer is established. The certificate shall preferably be translated to Norwegian, but it will also be accepted in Swedish, Danish and English.
Credit rating: Documentation requirement:
The Contracting Authority will carry out their own assessment of the Tenderer's finances through the business and account information system Bisnode AS (www.soliditet.no/creditcontrol) with the service CreditPro.
The Contracting Authority will not accept credit ratings from other business and account information systems than bisnode AS with the service CreditPro in order to ensure an equal assessment of all tenderers.
The Tenderer can enclose other necessary information in the tender if the Tenderer believes that bisnode/CreditPro does not provide a correct picture of the economic situation.
Newly established companies: Newly established companies who have not worked up a basis for a credit assessment must enclose a declaration from a bank or similar financial institution on the company's financial and economic standing. This also applies to foreign tenderers.
