The assignment includes operation and maintenance assignments with functional responsibility for some of the assignments, on national roads, national foot/cycle paths, county roads and county foot/cycle paths, with associated side facilities, side areas, equipment and installations in Troms County: Gratangen, Skånland, Ibestad, Lavangen, parts of Salangen and parts of Bardu. In Nordland County: Narvik, Evenes, Ballangen, parts of Tysfjord and parts of Tjeldsund municipalities, in accordance with the road list in chapter D2-V and D2-S20.

The object overview in chapter D2-V can be lacking as regards data on owners, maintenance responsibility, types of material, etc., but all the objects listed in chapter D2-V is included in the contract´s scope and shall be taken care of through the individual procosses/contractual requirements.

The work will be settled by round sum for round sum processes, in accordance with amounts and unit prices for other processes such as daywork in accordance with the hourly rates for crew and machines.
The contract period is from 1.9.2018 to 31.8.2023 for all off the described assignments.
The Builder has an option to extend the contract for 12 months, from 1.9.2023 until 31.8.2024.
The road network included in the contract (including arms and ramps) consists of:
945 838 km road in total

The traffic on the road network varies from approx. average annual daily traffic 50 to approx. average annual daily traffic 17 000 and an annual traffic growth of 1.2 % is expected.
The assignment mainly consists of routine operational assignments and minor maintenance assignments on the road network. The assignment also consists of inspecting and registering, planning the activity, stand-by for winter operations and general traffic flow, documentation, reporting to the builder, information to the public and handling other assignments that are necessary for the operation and maintenance of the road network.
