1.5.2 Contract E01 rock and concrete work:The contract includes all rock and concrete work for the water treatment plant at Huseby. The work is split into the following main assignments:— detailed engineering design services for the installations,— rock work,— concrete work,— steel, HVAC and sanitation, etc. in the rock halls,— administration building and the accompanying outside installations. The contract will have interface with joint contracts. This includes machines, dosing equipment and electrical contracts in the water treatment facility, and tunnel contracts for raw water, pure water and emissions. The Contractor for E01 rock and concrete work will have main company responsibility for the entire construction period at Huseby.Detailed engineering design services for the installations. The tenderer must complete the detailed engineering design services. The builder will carry out the engineering design services to varying degrees of detail for the different parts of the site. The builder will prepare detailed models for the process installations. The process installations include:— a raw water pump station and distribution gutters,— filter halls, each with a filter basin, flushing water basin, thickening basin,— sludge store,— pure water basins,— various overflow systems. For the other elements the builder will detail the model to detailed preliminary project level. The builder will be responsible for the choice of process. The tenderer's degree of freedom for the design of the facility will include:— tunnel systems for driving and later access to the different halls,— detailed design of the rock halls and rock rooms, adapted to function requirements and execution,— detailed design of concrete constructions,— execution and choice of materials in building constructions such as stairs, walkways/covers, service room, etc.The builder has high ambitions for the use of BIM. See annex 9 BIM strategy. A detailed BIM manual will be prepared for the project, and the tenderer will be able to participate in forming the details of this.Rock work:The following rock rooms are to be constructed:— access tunnels (will be clarified at the beginning of January 2019),— service area with room for high voltage installation, reserve power, sludge dewatering, ventilation and a driving loop for transport,— large rock halls for the process installations,— various internal connecting tunnels and shafts,— first part of the pure water tunnel,— first part of the raw water tunnel (option). The total rock volume in the water treatment facility is approx. 870 000 fm3, part of the pure water tunnel will be approx. 120 000 fm3 and 5 km of the raw water tunnel will be approx. 125 000 fm3.The rock work includes all arch work with protection and injecting. All the halls and tunnels must have tunnel sealing.Concrete work:The total concrete volume will be approx. 30 000 m3.Large parts of the concrete work are water-filled volumes such as gutters, basins or sand filters, with the accompanying requirements for water tightness. Each sand filter has a surface of 55 m2 and is 7 m deep. The filter layers consist of anthracite, quartz sand and marble sand, total approx. 3 metres. The sand lies on a cover with jet nozzles, estimated 5 500 nozzles per filter assembled in screw sockets. The cove is to be built in concrete cast on site. It can be partially prefabricated as a flat cover or steel plates, with ready assembled screw sockets for the nozzles. The entire cover with nozzles is included in the contract. The concrete work must generally be adapted to technical elements with foundations, pipe sleeves, hatch openings, openings for ventilation channels, etc.Steel, HVAC and sanitation, etc., in the rock halls.Steel work includes walkways, stairs, railings, suspension for technical installations, etc. The contract must also deliver all craneways with travelling cranes and traverser carriages. All ventilation installations, drainage pipes, bottom pipes and sanitation equipment are included in the rock installation.Ventilation includes supply air, dehumidification and waste air in the rock halls, as well as a separate vent pipe from the chemical room. Reserve power aggregates include air supply and exhaust vent pipes with chimneys on the roof of the administration building.Administration building and outside installations:Open air installations will include an administration building of approx. 1 000 m2 over 2 floors. The building will have cloakrooms, control room, office places, sleeping possibilities, dining room and meeting room. The building will also have intake and outlet for air to the rock halls and exhaust pipes for the reserve power installations. The building will have a high degree of security, with requirements for the concrete and burglary protection for windows. The building must be a plus house, which means solar panels on the roof and parts of the walls. The area around the building must be fenced in and have access control. The contract includes all disciplines in the building.Reserve power installations (to be clarified at the beginning of January 2019).The water treatment facility will have reserver power installations that will cover the energy requirements at maximum water production. The energy need in the preliminary project is estimated to 12 MW, the final effect will be determined through the builder´s detailed engineering design services of the process installations. The energy production will be split between 6 diesel aggregates. The installations are to be placed in the rock, whilst the air intake and exhaust pipe will be via the administration building.Joint:The delivery must be carried out in the period 04/2020 up to and including 12/2027. In the period 1/2025 to 12/2027, the assignments will primarily be related to rigging services and main company services. In this period the contract will also participate in testing and running-in the new installations.Note: The scope described in each contract and the interfaces between them can have minor changes. For E1 rock and concrete contract, the supply of the reserve power aggregates as described could be given to E4 electro. Furthermore, it is pertinent to reduce the extent of E1 rock and concrete contract by giving access to the water treatment facility to the E10 preparatory contract. Notification of any changes will be given at the beginning of January 2019.
