Brøggers Hus is being renovated and all the exhibitions are, thus, to be renewed. A total of 6 new permanent exhibitions and a crystal hole will replace the current public offer. The aim of the procurement is to enter into a contract with a main supplier who will have full responsibility for the development, design, engineering and construction of all the exhibitions stated below:

— the history of minerals and rocks,
— the history of the North Sea and Jura,
— the history of our dynamic earth,
— the crystal hole.
The chosen tenderer must work within the existing conceptual design plans. Sub-suppliers can be used as agreed with UiO, but the chosen tenderer must commit themselves to being the main supplier, so that UiO only depends on the main supplier. Reason for the cancellation:
It concerns the competition New Permanent Exhibitions for W.C. Brøggers hus ref. ANSK-0520-18.
Due to feedback and questions from the market, as well as later internal quality assurance, we see that the competition documents have been perceived as unclear.
The award criterium “total costs” must be clarified. In addition, UiO has decided to make more of the material from the draft project available at an earlier date in order to even out any competitive advantages that three of the tenderers could have from a previous phase.

Unfortunately we cannot any other way to correct this than by cancelling this competition, making the corrections and holding a new competition.
See point 9.1 in the tender documentation, which states that the Contracting Authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement process if there are justifiable reasons. This is in accordance with the public procurement regulations.
UiO intends to announce a new competition as soon as possible. The date for when the new competition will be published is, however, not yet ready.
We hope that interested tenderers can re-use their previous preparation to the greatest possible degree when participating in the competition.
