Tenderers are invited, on behalf of Aust-Agder County, to a competition for a turnkey contract for a solution for the construction of a new vocational college, with the accompanying dental clinic in Grimstad. A new co-located vocational college is to be established in Grimstad. The college will be a merger of Sørlandet's vocational college and the vocational college in Kristiansand, and it is to be constructed in Grimstad municipality in Aust-Agder. A new dental clinic is to be established in the same building. The vocational college and the dental clinic is a joint project, but they are 2 different users of the building, who are to have separate facilities. The site is situated in an area with a lot of educational activities, amongst others, the University of Agder and Dahlske sixth form college are in the neighbourhood. A new sports Centre, Sør Amfi, was also constructed in 2017. All of this makes Grimstad municipality an attractive student town.
