Management of an Assistive Aids Storehouse

Moss kommune

The objective of the tender contest is to enter into a contract for the management of Moss municipality's and Rygge municipality's assistive aids storehouse. The contract includes the following services which shall be provided concurrently during the contract period:
— the reception and storage of assistive aids delivered from NAV Hjelpemiddelsentral Østfold (the assistive aids central),
— the operation of the municipalities' short term lending system for assistive aids from the storehouse,
— distribution and follow-up of the assistive aids for lending,
— maintenance and repairs of the municipalities' mobility aids in the health and care institutions.
The estimated contract value is between 12 000 000 NOK — 13 000 000 NOK, excluding VAT. The estimate is based on a maximum contract period of 6 years. However, the estimated total value is subject to uncertainties. Currently Rygge municipality has its own employees who provide services for this. An increased scope must be expected as a result of a possible conclusion of this arrangement. The scope may also be changed if NAV centrally changes the guidelines for what type of assistive aids that should be available for the users.
