Majorstuen school does not currently have adequate premises for gym. There is, therefore, a need for a multi-purpose hall close to the school. The aim of the competition is, therefore, to procure or rent a multi-purpose hall.
Majorstuen school must be able to use the multi-purpose hall on weekdays during school hours and the Agency for the Urban Environment or other actors must be able to use it at other times.
The following parts of the requirement specifications are pointed out as central:
— The location of the multi-purpose hall must be no more than 10 minutes walk from Majorstuen school,
— The multi-purpose hall must have a playing area of minimum 20 x 32 m, with an option to split the playing area in 2. Each playing area must have an accompanying set of changing rooms,
— The multi-purpose hall must, as a starting point, fulfil the technical requirements. The mentioned requirements can, however, be subject to negotiation.
