The competition is for the hire, laundry and distribution of flat textiles and patients´ textiles for the health and social services sector in Kristiansand municipality. The health and social services sector consists of care units (sheltered accommodation flats, home-based services and institutions), emergency doctor surgeries and the kitchen service.

Dirty textiles must be collected and laundered textiles must be delivered to each individual delivery place at least once a week. “Delivery Place” means each row in the attached Overview of Delivery Places (annex 6). The textiles that the Contracting Authority hires from the Tenderer will hereafter be called the “Textile Stock”.

The Contracting Authority would like an option for the distribution and laundry of owned duvets and pillows. We normally wash duvets and pillows ourselves. In special cases, however, the Contracting Authority can have a need, for a short period, to send owned duvets and pillows to be laundered. We would, thus like an option for:

i) the laundry of owned duvets and pillows; and
ii) the hire of duvets and pillows to replace owned duvets and pillows that are being laundered;
the Contracting Authority would also like iii) an option for the general hire and laundry of duvets and pillows.
See the attached Product and Price Sheet (annex 4) for the pricing of the options. The option prices will not be evaluated.

Estimert verdi eksklusive mva: 14 000 000 NOK 💰

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The Framework Agreement´s length is restricted to 31.12.2019, with an option for New Kristiansand municipality to take over the contract and extend it for a further 1 + 1 + 1 year. The total maximum contract period is 48 months.
Furthermore, the Contracting Authority would like and option for:
i) the laundry of owned duvets and pillows for a short period;
ii) hire of duvets and pillows as a replacement for owned duvets and pillows that are being laundered; and
iii) general hire and laundry of duvets and pillows.
