Helse Fonna is a health trust with 3 somatic emergency hospitals, Haugesund Hospital, Stord Hospital and Odda Hospital. There are laboratories in operation 24 hours a day at all three hospitals, every day.
The Laboratory Medicine Section at Haugesund Hospital will procure a new joint “analysis hall” with a high degree of automation. We would like to have all the analysis instruments in a fully automatic system, including a conveyor belt, pre-analytical and post-analytical functions. The laboratory automation must be able to see to the hospital's current and future needs for laboratory services, cf. the requirement specifications. It must contribute to good use of resources, operational efficiency and an efficient use of premises. In addition, there is a strong focus on good ergonomics and environmental friendliness. The laboratory automation must be built up under a multi-disciplinary good working environment in the laboratory medicine section. Sample logistics and work flow must be efficient and must contribute to short reply times at the same time that the system fulfils the laboratories' quality and functionality requirements. As the laboratory automation will be continually in operation, it is important that the system is both robust and reliable, and sees to the need for back-up systems, 24/7.

The pre-analytical and post-analytical part of the automation must be able to sort samples that not only are to be analysed in the laboratory automation, but also samples that are either to be sent to other hospitals for analysis, or samples that are to be analysed in the laboratories by other instruments that are not connected to the automation.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The Contracting Authority will have an option for the following products for Haugesund:
Store management system for reagents and consumables that support automatic store management through wireless technology.
The Contracting Authority will have an option to expand the contract with the following products for Stord:
— analysis instruments for clinical chemistry and immune chemistry, including middleware and back-up;
— analysis instruments for haematology, including middleware and back-up;
— analysis instruments for coagulation, including middleware and back-up;
— analysis instrument for analysing HbA1c;
— “stand alone” pre-analytical unit;
— “stand alone” post-analytical unit.
The Contracting Authority will have an option to expand the contract with the following products for Odda:
— analysis instruments for clinical chemistry and immune chemistry, including middleware,
— back-up for an analysis instrument for clinical chemistry and immune chemistry (smaller instrument),
— analysis instruments for haematology, including middleware,
— back-up for an analysis instruments for haematology (smaller instrument),
— analysis instruments for coagulation, including any middleware,
— back-up for an analysis instrument for coagulation (smaller instrument),
The Contracting Authority will have an option for service and maintenance, see Annex 6 overview of service levels.
The analysis instruments that are offered as an option for Stord and Odda Hospitals must use the same methods and reagents as the analysis instruments in the analysis hall in Haugesund. Both due to size, capacity and analysis repertoire considerations, they must be adapted to the need at the laboratories in questions, cf. Annex 10 Analysis Quality Analysis Hall and Annex 7 statistics analysis hall.

The options must be taken up in writing and they will be valid for 4 years after the contract has been signed.
