Kragerø municipality c/o the VAR entity, will replace its Operations control system for managing and monitoring the municipality´s water and sewage installations (water and sewage top system).
The assignment is a turnkey contract with function responsibility, comprising the following main parts:
— engineering design services for everything included in the contract,
— delivery and assembly of all technical equipment (hardware and software) that is required to meet the service and function requirements given in the technical description, including necessary communication equipment and process automation equipment in the installations,

— testing and commissioning the operations control system,
— verification that the stability, performance and function requirements have been met in a subsequent test period (with Kragerø municipality as the system operator) as regards the defined requirements for the handover of the installation,
— training of personnel in Kragerø municipality, VAR Entity, who will work with the operations control system,
— delivery of MOM documentation.

— Establishment of communication with Helle RA/Pump station with approx. 50 signal objects.
— Service contract, including software upgrades.

A contract has been signed with Guard Automation AS.
Kragerø municipality's current operations control system for Water and Sewage is 20 years old and still in operation. Due to difficulties with maintaining this old system, Kragerø municipality has decided to replace the entire system.
The contract includes the delivery of a new operations control system. The system shall mainly communicate with the current PLC system (front-end PLC, communication equipment and installations in the process system), delivered by Malthe Winje. The PLCs are mainly of the type Saia in the current operations control system.
