Kristiansund Kommune invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure in connection with the establishment of a Framework Agreement for the purchase of work clothing and accessories for multiple of the municipality's entities. The procurement shall cover the needs within the Technical sector, municipal engineering and park facilities in addition to units within building and construction.
NB: Work clothing to the health and care sector is not included. The special unit for fire and rescue is also not included.
The agreement period shall be two years with the possibility to extend for 1 year + 1 year.
Deadline to deliver requests for qualification is friday 31.8.2018.

Kristiansund kommune wants to use this procurement to cover their need for work clothing and accessories such as shoes and protective equipment for the following entities: Technical sector, municipal engineering and park facilities in addition to the units within building and construction.

Contracts that will be bound by this Framework Agreement are Framework Agreements for the delivery of institutional clothing, clothing for the Department of cleaning services, Framework Agreement for the delivery of outerwear to the Home Service and contracts for the delivery of work clothing to the fire and rescue unit.

The work clothing shall be durable and functional and in addition shall function as protective clothing for individual work groups. Shoes shall be good to walk in and preventative in regard to back and leg afflictions.
Based on statistics, work clothing for units that shall be covered by this framework agreement is purchased for approximately 1 000 000 NOK per year. The given amount is not binding on the Contracting Authority but is only given as an indication of the scope of the tender.

After the first qualification round, all qualified tenderers will have the possibility to submit tender offers. All tender offers will be evaluated. The tenderers with the tree best offers will then be invited to negotiations.

The qualification requirements are described in the tender documentation. Norwegian companies must present a company registration certificate. Foreign tenderers must provide verification that the company is registered in a company register, professional register or a trade register in the state where the tenderer is established. Tenderers must submit a tax certificate for VAT and tax. The tax certificate must not be older than 6 months at the deadline for submitting a request to participate in the competition to deliver tender offers.

2) Building and construction works.
Contracts that are related to the following units shall not be included: Framework Agreement for textiles and clothing for the institution and cleaning department. Neither is the delivery of clothing to the special unit for fire and rescue.
Based on statistics the annual call-offs against the Framework Agreement is approx. 1 000 000 NOK.
