The assignment is for specially adapted and unique exhibition fixtures and elements for the exhibition areas in the new national museum. The assignment includes, amongst other things, specially designed sitting furniture/benches with integrated AV equipment (light/picture) and other exhibition elements such as podiums and pedestals.

The content of what must be manufactured is varied as regards form and expression, as well as the use of materials. A highly specialised supplier is required, who masters the manufacture and production of elements in different types of materials, and who is able to realise detailed design and drawing material for fixtures of a high quality and finish. The following, amongst other things, is to be manufactured:

— pedestals,

— podiums,

— communication benches/sitting furniture,

— multimedia furniture,

— specially adapted exhibition fixtures and elements,

— non-loadbearing walls,

— kosmorama,

— security dividers.

Framework Agreement with the national museum

“The Framework Agreement must include an option for the procurement of equivalent types of products and fixtures with the chosen tenderer for a period of 4 years, based on the main delivery in this procurement. Tenderers must state whether the prices in the Framework Agreement are offered at the same level as in this delivery, or whether other prices will apply. Price rises and changes in the terms will be regulated by the contract terms, cf. Rødboka [the Red Book]. The Contracting Authority is to be offered new products on equivalent terms if technical developments or the development of products that naturally belong to the assortment come on the market during the lifetime of the framework agreement».

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

Tenderers must be a legally established company.

Norwegian tenderers: company registration certificate from the Brønnøysund Register Centre.

Foreign tenderers: proof of registration in a trade register or registration in a register of businesses, as mandated in the business legislation in the country where the company is established.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

Tenderers must have an economic position that makes it possible to fulfil their contract obligations throughout the entire contract period. Financial capacity will be assessed as regards turnover, operating margin, solidity and liquidity.

Credit rating analysis from a certified credit rating agency for the company, based on the last available annual accounts, alternatively the last 3 years accounts with the auditor´s certificate. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to carry out its own credit rating, or as for the annual accounts in order to supplement information in the credit rating analysis.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

Tenderers must have experience from similar contracts.

Tenderers must submit a list of reference assignments that were delivered to customers who are relevant for this assignment. Documentation must be given for each assignment, in the form of a declaration from the candidate, which contains a description of the delivery and their role in the delivery, the contract amount/value, start date and completion date for the assignment. The description can be up to two A4 pages per project. 4-6 relevant reference projects are requested. The name and contact information of the customer shall be given for each reference project. The Contracting Authority has the right to contact the reference customers in order to verify the assignment and its content, as well as other information of relevance, in order to clarify the tenderer's suitability and ability to deliver results in the assignments.

Tenderers must have the project management, production and delivery capacity to fulfil the obligations in the contract. Good technical competence is required within trade services and manufacturing deliveries, with the production of fixtures/furniture of high quality/finish.

An overview must be submitted of the tenderer’s capacity (number of employees in administration and production, as well as production resources) within:

i) project management;

ii) technical competence within the discipline and relevant use of materials;

iii) assembly personnel;

iv) production resources.

The description ought to be up to 3 A4 pages.

Tenderers must have a quality assurance system that is adapted and suited to the nature of the assignments.

Tenderers must submit a brief description of the comprehensive quality assurance system that the tenderer will use as a basis for the implementation of the contract.

Tenderers must fulfil the requirement for products and delivery, cf. Annex Requirement Specifications/BOQ, etc.

Tenderers must submit a self declaration and account based on the points in the current requirement specifications, Annex 1.
