Østfoldbadet shall be extended with a new part that has a 6 lane main pool of 25 x 10.5 m, as well as changing room facilities with room for 160 persons, a gym, social room and a physiotherapy department. The development shall be accessed from the existing premises. In addition a new outdoor pool shall be constructed with the accompanying outside area for sun beds, a play area and infrastructure for stalls for food and drinks. The expected start-up is provisionally set to the turn of the month May / June 2018. The complete outdoor pool installations with a technical room in the basement are to be completed before summer 2019 and the entire swimming pool installations are to be completed in September 2019.

The development shall be adapted to access from the existing facilities. In addition, a new outdoor pool facility shall be built with an associated outdoor area facilitated for sunbeds, play areas and infrastructure for food and drink stalls. The anticipated start is current set for the change of the month May/June 2018. The total outdoor pool facility with a mechanical room in the basement is planned for completion before summer 2019 and the completion of an entire swimming pool facility in September 2019.
