Statens vegvesen Region sør [the Norwegian Public Roads Administration Southern Region] wants tender offers for personnel who can contribute as road traffic controllers for the operational contract in Setesdal.
There is a need for winter duty personnel. Typical winter duty assignments will be inspection/monitoring of the road network, assessment of the need for measures and implementation of measures through mobilisation, management and follow-up of contractors. Duty personnel shall also operate logbooks, record and follow-up measures using PC/digital tools, carry out friction metering, send road notices and carry out minor manual work assignments.
The work territory for this contract is the Valle area/Øvre Setesdal (north of Storstraumen, see detailed overview of the road network included in the contract area in Annex 5). Attendance location is Valle Road Station.
