Harstad kommune [municipality will establish a new primary treatment plant for South Harstad. The plant will be dimensioned for a load of 8,200 pe. In addition to the technical machinery equipment for the primary treatment plant, a sludge reception facility will be built to receive sludge from pipeline flushing and emptying of stone traps upstream to the pumping station as well as emergency emptying of septic tanks.
Besides the technical machinery installation, the framework agreement also includes sub distribution with cabling and termination for the technical machinery installations.
Technical machinery installations will be placed in an existing production hall that has been procured for this purpose.
