The contracting authority would like tenders for a haematology instrument, with an option for an extra instrument by the end of 2020 and 2 instruments for digital morphology, both with any necessary instrument specific consumables. A decision has been made that the project will be carried out in accordance with Helse Midt-Norge's action plan for 2018.
The competition is divided into two tender packages:
— tender package 1: Haematology instrument with instrument specific controllers / consumables,
— tender package 2: Instrument for digital morphology with any instrument specific consumables.
Tenderers can submit tenders for one or both of the tender packages.
The tenders must clearly state whether the delivery of one tender package presumes that the same tenderer is also awarded the other tender package.

Kort beskrivelse:
The hospitals in Helse Nord-Trøndelag currently have two haematology instruments at each hospital (Levanger and Namsos). Both have Sysmex XN-1000 (2015) and Celldyn Sapphire (Levanger 2007 and Namsos 2010).
Due to the instrument's age, Levanger Hospital intends to replace the Celldyn Sapphire i 2018. Namsos Hospital would like an option that can be taken up over the course of 2 years.
The instrument must fulfil the normal requirements for haematological analyses, both technically and quality-wise. Celldyn Sapphire has mainly been used for fresh samples, but we would like the new instrument to have technology that enables 'non-fresh' samples to be analysed with good quality. Approx. 80 000 samples were analysed at the haematology section at Levanger Hospital in 2017, split between 2 instruments.

The contract for the delivery of instrument specific controllers / reagents / consumables can be extended for the entire lifetime of the instrument. The instrument's lifetime is, as a starting point, set to 7 years, but this can be extended.

Equipment will be procured for digital morphology (blood smears and any bone marrow smears), this applies to both of the hospitals. Approx. 1 000 blood smears are put under a microscope per annum at Levanger Hospital, in addition to bone marrow smears.

The main aim of the procurement is that bio-engineers at the laboratory will be able to give out results for some blood smears (including those made to check results from the haematology instrument). The haematologists can also be relieved by assessing ordered blood smears.

Namsos Hospital must be able to 'scan' their blood smears and Levanger Hospital must be able to assess them. We would also like the haematologists to be able to assess smears in their offices/department.
