EBY needs to connect with service providers who can undertake tree felling, pruning and removal of bushes and scrub on EBY's properties. Initially the work will take place within Oslo municipality's borders, but there will be some assignments in Akershus, primarily at Dikemark, Ullensaker and Eidsvoll. The need will vary depending on the number and type of trees. The same applies to removal of scrub where the scope will vary greatly depending on growth conditions. Trees that require felling are typical trees that are in poor condition and thereby a danger to people, buildings, vehicles, pipelines etc. There may be trees that are of great concern to neighbours, or should be removed to provide better conditions for other vegetation. It will also be necessary to remove a number of trees that fall down due to bad weather. Pruning will primarily be in the following four categories, these are further described in Appendix 1: Description.

When it comes to scrub, this is removed to improve visibility and increase safety for pedestrians and road users. Scrub is also removed to improve accessibility along pathways and to bring more light to neighbours. The agency makes call offs for annual assignments for approximately 1 500 000 NOK excluding VAT on the existing Framework Agreement, that does not include pruning. We have no reason to believe that the scope will change significantly beyond the addition of pruning, but emphasise that this is only an estimation. To ensure sufficient access to the service, we aim to enter into a Framework Agreement with three service providers.
