Gassnova SF will enter into a Framework Agreement for 2 years, with an option for a 2 year extension. The aim is to enter into a Framework Agreement that Gassnova can use for assistance for cost estimates and project support related assignments. The procurement process will have 2 stages; qualification of the maximum the 5 best tenderers, who will then receive the tender documentation, followed by negotiations.
This competition will be held in English, so the tender documentation, SoW, tender and contract will be in English.

The Norwegian CCS Demonstration project- NCD)

Intends to develop a full-scale CCS chain in order to catch CO2 from two different industry emissions in existing facilities in south east Norway.

CO2 will be converted to liquid and transported on a ship to a temporary storage facility connected to the land on the west coast of Norway, from where the CO2 will be injected via a submarine pipe to a geological storage area for permanent storage.

The project is now in the feed phase, which will be last until the end of autumn 2019.

Gassnova is responsible for managing the project on behalf of the Norwegian government.

Three industrial companies are responsible for carrying out studies on their installations (2 on catch, one of transport/storage).

Gassnova coordinates the interface between the companies, in addition to evaluating technical systems and cost estimates.

In accordance with normal quality assurance for government financed projects in Norway, a third party (Atkins/Oslo Economics) has been nominated by the Ministry of Finance to carry out quality assurance and a cost estimate analysis after FEED has ended.

Gassnova will use a new Framework Agreement to ensure we have assistance to verify the feed reports from the industrial companies.

The first two planned assignments (call-offs) will be a verification/revision of the cost estimates and a technical/functional review of the individual parties of the chain (the industrial companies), as well as the actual CCS chain.

Other relevant assignments (call-offs) can be other estimate assignments or a review of Planer.
