TRFK has established land-based infrastructure to support electrical propulsion of ferries for the Flakk — Brekstad and Valset — Brekstad routes. This infrastructure includes installations for the transformation, storage and transfer of electrical energy to ferries on the mentioned routes. These installations are assembled in technical buildings by the routes. In addition, a charging tower, automatic anchoring system and an integrated automation, control and monitoring system is included at each ferry quay.
TRFK, as the owner, sees a need for follow-up of the planning and implementation of the shipowners´ maintenance plans and execution, as well as reports to the Contracting Authority (monthly).
