Stavanger municipality´s town fire work would like to offer and facilitate early fire alarms for the old wooden houses in Trehusbyen in the centre of Stavanger. It is primarily the dense areas and areas close to the centre that are to be prioritised.

The municipality would like to club together with the house owners of dense wooden houses worthy of preservation and offer these fire alarm systems. A starter pack is to be offered with 2 detectors and a control unit with a keyboard. The cost of the starter pack is to be split equally between the house owner and the municipality.

Tenderers must state, in their tender, the options for expanding the alarm system, e.g. in cases where the house owner would like more smoke detectors. The cost of such an expansion of the alarm system beyond the starter pack will fall exclusively to the house owner.

Furthermore, we would like the tenderer to arrange information campaigns aimed at the house owners in Trehusbyen. Tenderers shall state, in their tender, proposals for implementing an information campaign — we would like the tenderer to represent the initiative and actively participate in order to get customers in the areas in question.

The contract period is 2 years. The Contracting Authority shall, in addition, have an option to extend the contract for a further 1+1 year on the same terms.
