Bergen kommune, Etat for utbygging [the Agency for Development] hereby invites tenderers to qualification for participation in a restricted tender competition for a turnkey contract in project U1950 Holen School.
Holen school shall be a combined primary and lower secondary school with place to up to 650 students from 1-10 class. It shall be dimensioned [sized] for 250 primary school students and 400 lower secondary students. The school is physically connected in one building. The aim of the project is to build a school that covers the users and municipality’s need. Compact, flexible, multi-purpose, environmental requirements, good quality, timely solutions and materials are important key words for the new construction. The outdoor area shall be larger, greener and more attractive for all students. In cooperation with the School Use Plan it is a goal that the school facility shall be used as a community facility and also be a local environment outside of school hours. In addition, we want to make the traffic situation around the school safer.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
Option 1: Improvement of the junction Kringsjåveien – Øvre Holen as shown in the proposed zoning plan is an option in this contract. Triggering will be dependant on the date for approval of the plan and consequent requirements of this.
Option 2: It can be relevant to place a Multi Use Games Area {MUGA} financed by Laksevåg Senter on the outdoor area of the upper site (currently the lower secondary school site). This is described as an option in this contract.
