The “Norwegian Journal of Working Life Studies” has been financed from 2007 up to and including 2018 partly by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, directly or through ear-marked grants via the Research Council of Norway, and partly from the general grant to the VAM programme that several ministries have contributed to. The Institute for Social Research has carried out editorial services for the periodical since its start-up in 1987.

The Ministry's purpose with announcing this assignment is to ensure that specific requirements for communication as stated in the requirement specifications are safe guarded.

A contract will be signed for a period of 4 years with a cost limit from 1 000 000 NOK to 1 350 000 NOK excluding VAT per annum.

— Certificate, not older than 6 months, confirming that the tenderer has fulfilled his tax, social security and VAT obligations. The certificate can be ordered and obtained from Altinn from the separate link on skatteetaten.no. If this is not possible, it can be ordered from the tax collector or the Norwegian Tax Administration. The certificate is electronically certified and is therefore not signed. For further information, see skatteetaten.no. The certificate shall be enclosed with the tender in accordance with the outline given in the tender documents.

The tenderer must have sufficient economic and financial capacity to carry out the delivery, in which, amongst other things, being creditworthy without any requirement for collateral will be adequate.

A credit rating with key figures from a certified credit assessment company or other form of documentation to demonstrate that the requirement has been met.

Tenderers must be able to demonstrate at least one assignment in the last 3 years comprising editorial work with a scientific periodical in a field of relevance to this assignment.
Relevant fields are, for example, the labour market, working life regulation, working environment, welfare policies, immigration, etc.
Tenderers must have sufficient professional expertise and capacity.
Documentation Requirement:
An overview of the most important deliveries or services with relevance for this assignment that the tenderer has carried out in the course of the last three years. Operation of editing for scientific periodical with continuity over several years is relevant to the assignment. It must be stated clearly what the relevant business has consisted of and which role the supplier has played.
