The main cycle path is a pilot project by Norwegian standards. It shall go between Stavanger and Sandnes, will only be for cyclists and will be approx. 13 km long.
This competition is for the main cycle path from Asser Jåttensveg to Oalsgata in Sandnes. The stretch between the public transport bridge (Sandnes border) and Løwenstrassekrysset (the Aftenblad building) is still being regulated and is not included.
A contract will be signed for the stretch Asser Jåttensveg to the public transport bridge. The public transport lane and the 2 stages from Løwenstrasse to Smeaheia and Smeaheia — Oalsgate will be options for the builder. I.e. the builder will have the right, but not a duty, to let the tenderer carry out work on these stretches in accordance with the price and terms in the contract. The options must be priced and added to the sum in the evaluation. Any option contract will be signed at a later date.

E01 Asser Jåttensveg — the public transport bridge (Sandnes border), including option 0 public transport lane:
The basis for the project is development plan 2439, adopted by Stavanger municipality on 12.1.2015. The stretch is 3760 m long and goes from profile 1660 at Asser Jåttensveg og to profile 5420 at the Sandnes border (the public transport bridge/ Møller bil) in Stavanger municipality. In addition an arm with a foot and cycle path shall be constructed from the culvert under county road 509 down to the existing foot and cycle path by the public transport axis in Sola municipality.

The contract work includes:
— The main cycle path with an asphalted width of 4 m and 0.25 m shoulder on each side.
— Concrete supporting walls.
— Natural stone supporting walls.
— Noise reduction screens.
— New railings along the E39.
— Bridge by the culvert on Maskinveien.
— Improvements to parts of Maskinveien.
— 6 connections to the main cycle path.
— Alterations to and new installations of cables for the cable departments, primarily Lyse and Telenor.
— Alterations to and new installations of municipal water and sewage pipelines and the accompanying manholes/equipment.
— Surface water management/drainage (sewage pipelines, manholes, retention installations etc. for the Norwegian public roads administration).
— Alterations to IVAR´s sewage pipelines north of Solasplitten. The contract is subject to the required formalities for the sub-stretch closest to the pump station (approx. 230 m) being in place by 1 November. Otherwise this work will be excluded.
— The public transport lane along the E39 from Asser Jåttensveg to Solasplitten and in to Forus is an option for the builder. This will be decided before the contract is signed. It is not deemed to be critical and will not, therefore, affect the completion date for the contract work.

The basis for the project is development plan 2012102, adopted by Sandnes municipality on 18.9.2017. The stretch is 2490 m long and goes from profile 6110 to profile 8600.
The contract work includes:
— The main cycle path with an asphalted width of 4 m and 0.25 m shoulder on each side.
— Concrete supporting walls.
— Natural stone supporting walls.
— Noise reduction screens/noise reduction mounds.
— New railings along the E39.
— Alterations to Stokkaveien at Kvadrat.
— Culvert for connection at Kvadrat.
— Bridge over the ramp to the E39 (the Kvadrat junction).
— Culvert under the ramp from the E39 (the Kvadrat junction).
— 2 connections to the main cycle path and a temporary connection to the south of Løwenstrasse.
— Alterations to and new installations of cables for Lyse and Telenor.
— Alterations to and new installations of municipal water and sewage pipelines and the accompanying manholes/equipment.
— Surface water management/drainage (sewage pipelines, manholes, retention installations etc. for the Norwegian public roads administration).
E04 Smeaheia — Oalsgate (option for the builder, option 2).
The basis for the project is development plan 2015108, adopted by Sandnes municipality on 18.9.2017. The stretch is 960 m long and it starts where the others end. There is a break in the profiling and a new profiling goes from -150 to profile 810.
— Alterations to a municipal foot and cycle path at Smeaheia.
— Bridge over a foot and cycle path by Soma bridge.
— Surface water management/drainage (sewage pipelines, manholes, retention installations etc. for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration).

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Tenderers shall be a legally established company.
Documentation requirement: Company registration certificate from a Register of business enterprises foreign tenderers can submit an equivalent certificate in accordance with the legislation in the tenderer's country of establishment.
