The contract work concerns Electronic installations, Control, Regulation and Monitoring system (CRM) and controllable traffic management installations for the Bagnskleiv Tunnel and associated open air zones, approx. chainage 70 to approx. chainage 6 000.
The Bagnskleiv Tunnel under expansion by Skanska as the main contractor. The electro works shall be performed at the same time /parallel with the ongoing road and tunnel contract. The electro contractor will be transferred the main contract ref. A3.10.1.
Trunk Road Route E16 Sandvika – Bergen represents an important transport route between Østlandet and Vestlandet [Eastern Norway and Western Norway] and is the trunk road between the east and west that has the best regularity during winter. E16 Bagn – Bjørgo is part of this trunk road route. There is a bypass opportunity via fv 219 [county road 219] and fv 33 [county road 33].
