Processing of grants in the cultural heritage sector.
The processing of applications for grants will be carried out by the counties after 1.1.2020, with the Directorate of Cultural Heritage being the appeals body. Currently, only applications for grants for privately owned listed buildings are processed by the counties and the Sami Parliament (Sami cultural heritage objects).

Grants were awarded for approx. NOK 450 000 000 in 2016. Approx. 1400 applications were received by the counties, Sami Parliament and the Directorate for Cultural Heritage.
