Oslo municipality is establishing a new water supply system with Holsfjorden as the raw water source. The aim is to ensure drinking water for inhabitants if the current water supply fails. The project's estimated cost is approx. 8 500 000 000 NOK. NOK The preliminary project has been completed and the project is now in a middle phase until a subsidy is expected in mid 2019. The construction period is scheduled from 2020 to 2027.The project's contract strategy is for 8 major contracts for the construction of a new water supply. The total contract cost will be approx. 5 200 000 000 NOK. The contracts are partly execution contracts and partly turnkey contracts. 3 of the contracts include considerable amounts of rock removal, partly combined with concrete work and laying pipes with large dimensions.In addition to the construction contracts, the contracts in the project will include services and supply contracts. All the contracts must be based on Oslo Municipality's standardised contracts for each contract type and adapted to the project's prerequisites, needs and implementation plan.The project will procure an individual resource who will have the role of contract manager. The contract manager will report to the project manager and will support the project manager's implementation of the contracts. Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

The service must be provided in the period March 2019 to December 2024.

The Contracting Authority will have an option to extend the contract on unchanged terms once or several times, up to and including the project's completion and to when any conditions connected to the project's contracts have ended.
