We would like to hire a project manager who can assist us in the process of preparing and announcing a new contract for the operation of Diskos. Consultants who can provide us with relevant IT competence, legal competence and administrative support in accordance with need are also requested.
OD is in the process of preparing the notice for a new contract for the Diskos database. The objective is to implement a Request for Technology (RFT) process in the beginning of 2019 with a ready notice by the end of 2019. The contract is expected to be signed before summer 2020.
Diskos is a national storage base for search and extraction related information. The database was established and designed by OD and the oil companies represented on the Norwegian continental shelf. Diskos has been in operation since 1995 and is currently operated by CGG and Kadme. Diskos currently contains more than 7 PB of seismic and navigation data, well data and production data. OD administers the Diskos contract on behalf of the member companies.

OD would like to enter into a consultancy contract with one tenderer for the requested concultancy services. The Framework Agreement will be valid for 2 years, with an option for OD to extend the contract for 1 year.
The contract has an estimated value of between 4 000 000 NOK — 8 000 000 NOK excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for OD, nor does it give the tenderer any rights.
We would like the start-up to be as soon as possible after the award of contract.
The work location is at OD's (the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate) offices at Ullandhaug in Stavanger. However, some of the work can be carried outside the office. The project manager is expected to carry out the work 2 days per week on average. The other consultants shall be engaged in accordance with need and some work at the OD's premises must be expected. Especially in connection with meetings.
