Kort beskrivelse
The Norwegian Institute of Public Health started monitoring the temperature in some freezers in 1998. We currently have approx. 650 measuring points and are now on the 4th generation type of monitoring installations. Different types of equipment are used to store/process material at a specific temperature over a given time. For example, the material can be viruses, bacteria, DNA and many different types of media that is used in the laboratory. It is very important that these are stored at the correct temperature, which can be, for example, -150, -80, -20, +5, +20, +60 degrees. The types and number of equipment that maintain this temperature continually changes. This can also apply to other types of measurements, such as CO2, humidity, electricity consumption and particle counting. Large emergency power installations and UPS ensure continual operation in the event of a power failure.
