The Contracting Authority would like tenders for a CT for Orkdal Hospital.
The installation shall replace the existing CT and it will be the only CT machine in Orkdal Hospital. We envisage a “high-end” machine that will be used to examine all organ systems, including acute examinations. It shall be suitable for cardiovascular examinations, including coronary arteries, acute strokes and examinations of unclear conditions and trauma with dual energy.
The CT machine shall be in operation 24/7.

The CT machine shall be in operation 24/7.
The Contracting Authority expects a lifetime of at least 10 years.
The estimated value of the procurement is between 10 000 000 NOK — 13 500 000 NOK excluding VAT.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to reject tenders that exceed the agreed finances.
St. Olavs Hospital HF — Orkdal Hospital is at the start of a comprehensive alteration process that consists of 3 construction stages. In construction Stage 1 the accident and emergency department and the municipal emergency doctor surgery will be merged into one joint reception centre. The existing CT is a “bottleneck” for starting this alteration process, as the existing CT room shall be turned into a corridor for the public.

Before the major alteration can begin, the existing CT must be run as normal until the new CT can be operated 24/7.
The new CT shall be placed in new premises (the old demonstration room), which have not been used for x-rays before, an existing office will be changed into a manoeuvre room and the technical room will be part of an existing flushing room.
