1. MPs, the party groups and the parliament´s administration need to continually keep up with the news. This applies both to references of the representatives, political matters and references of the Parliament as such. Each representative and employee in the party groups and in the administration can have individual needs for newsfeed, based on their area of work. The need will change over time, to the degree that new political matters arise and actors are mentioned in the media and there can be changes as regards what news sources are to be included in the newsfeed.

If the need is not covered, the basis for representatives being able to do a good job in their role will be considerably worse.

2. In its work with the media, the section for press and community contact has a need for a tool that makes it possible to continually follow the news and which gives access to all big special media, both newspapers and the broadcast media. The section also has a need for a tool that makes it easy to set up reports and separate searches on special cases. The section for press and community contact has a need, in its work with social media, for a tool that can intercept relevant activity in social media.
