Sandefjord kommune (municipality) shall procure swimming pool chemicals, water purification equipment and purification system servicing on request for all pools in the municipality. The Framework Agreement shall ensure that the swimming pools at all times have suitable chemicals and parts for the existing equipment, to ensure good water quality and clean environments in the pools. In order to ensure this, appropriate equipment for treating water is also necessary. The Framework Agreement must also cover service on existing treatment installations (as detailed below).

Description of Sandefjord Aquatic Centre:

— number of pools: 2 (swimming pool and therapy pool),

— water quantity: 1 300 000 L.

Description of School Swimming Pool:

— Ranvik, water quantity: 220 000 L,

— Varden, water quantity: 220 000 L,

— Andebu, water quantity: 200 000 L,

— Bokmoa, water quantity: 240 000 L.

Description of therapy pool:

SMS (Sandefjord Medisinske Senter) (Sandefjord Medical Centre)

— number of pools: one pool,

— water quantity: 130 000 L.

Soletunet sykehjem (Soletunet Nursing Home):

— water quantity: 200 000 L.

Description of the desired annual servicing at SMS swimming pool:

The Contracting Authority does not want an offer for annual servicing.

Description of the desired annual services of the swimming pools at Ranvik School and Varden Lower Secondary School.

— inspect the installations and the individual component functions, including undertaking preventative maintenance,

— undertake minor adjustments that do not require new material or replacement of parts and that service personnel can perform on the site,

— detect errors or deficiences and wear that require repair or replacement of material and propose preventative measures. Improvements shall be performed as soon as possible, to hinder operational disruptions.

The aim of the procurement:

The objective of the procurement is to ensure that there is always a clean environment and good water quality in the swimming pools. The procurement shall promote a health friendly environment for users of the pool. It is also important for the Contracting Authority to have a service provider who is cooperative and reliable.
